Fauna of Greenland
The island doesn’t have many species of animals living on it and the ones that do exist can be divided into two categories: those native to the land, and those introduced by people. This is a list of some of the most prominent species.
Native species: Polar bear, barren-ground caribou, muskox, Arctic fox, Arctic wolf, etc.
Domesticated (introduces):
By the Inuit: dogs
By the Danes: goats, sheep, oxen, and pigs.
