Georgia

Relations between Georgia and the States improved only after Georgia gained independence from the USSR. The USA are investors in the economy of this country. The United States is also an active participant in the Geneva discussions on the conflicts in Georgia.

Americans are well aware of the relationship between the United States and Georgia, but many of them confuse Georgia and the State of Georgia.
