Special relationship
Today, the United States and Great Britain are military and economic partners. In the opinion of the world community, Great Britain is highly dependent on the United States. The United States sometimes demands support from the United Kingdom in hostilities and practically controls espionage activities.
The relationship between these countries is called "special" because of their real proximity. Despite recent events and the constant distance from the United States, Great Britain claims that it will not break off relations with the United States.
